Extremely well built and seaworthy classic outboard boat. Built by legendary finnish boatbuilder Vator Boats in 1986.
With time the plywood of the transom needs to be replaced and and now in March 2026 it was time to start a project for this. Please see pictures under Images.
Also the Mercury outboard engine was planned to be renovated and was taken to a workshop. Some basic service was done like change of impeller. However, without discussing first the workshop intended to change the lower mount bolts as the rubber had wared. It then showed to be difficult to the remove the old bolts. One was eventually removed but the other one still remains as is a real problem. It appears the only way will be to try to drill it out.
